My husband has known Joe Foley for several years since they are members of the same D.C.-area bike team. Joe had even done some photography for the team at their local cyclocross race. Although we learned about Joe Foley Photography through this personal connection, we chose him for our wedding based on his impressive portfolio and his awesome work on our engagement pictures. Joe really listened to what we were looking for and executed the plans on our wedding day. He and his associate were a joy to have with us for such a special occasion. They were professional and also very personable–which is great when you’re spending time together from the “getting ready” stage through the grand exit at the end of the evening! The wedding shots we’ve seen so far have been really fantastic (Joe put together a blog post with some previews by the time we got to our honeymoon destination!), and we can’t wait to view the rest.

Joe’s photographs are absolutely stunning. We always knew exactly what we wanted from our wedding photographs but struggled to find anyone who shot in the natural, easy, non-cheesy way that we were looking for. When we saw examples of Joes wedding work, we knew that we had to have him as our photographer. On the day Joe was completely unobtrusive, easy-going and professional. He captured the magic that we felt on the day, and we relive that magic every time we look through our beautiful album. We were so glad Joe was able to be our photographer, and would unreservedly recommend him to anyone who wants stunning, fun, natural, unforced photographs.

We met Joe through a friend of ours, and actually paid for him to travel up to Pittsburgh to shoot our wedding, after our engagement photos came out so beautifully. Joe and his assistant Maili were fantastic in that they were there to cover everything, but were absolutely unobtrusive. We barely noticed them during the ceremony but they still captured the most amazing moments. They were easy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone.

Joe was fantastic and took amazing pictures of our wedding. He was very flexible with us as we threw ideas out about what we wanted to do and went above and beyond to create a “photobooth” set up for us and for our guests to have fun with.

Joe is the best! Our wedding was on the day of a fluke (and magical) snowstorm in October and had been planned as an outdoor ceremony. Joe not only rolled with the punches, but he made the day come to life by taking us on some adventures to make the absolute best of our circumstances – incredible pictures in the snow! He captured so many special moments from the whole day and our the feeling of the wedding come through perfectly in the pictures. They are gorgeous. Joe and team are also a pleasure to work with.

Joe is not only such a pleasure to work with, but also so talented! He was so responsive and diligent. He and Maili were GREAT the day of – fun, on point, and put together. The pictures came out absolutely beautiful – they are classic and I love looking at them. Just so, so great all around!

I chose Joe Foley Photography because of all of the wedding details to plan, I felt that having a good photographer was the most important. Joe is a pleasure to work with and was able to capture priceless moments that will bring me back to the happiness of my wedding day for the rest of my life. His photos not only captured the beauty of the people I love, but their personalities as well. He also photographed the wedding venue in way which made people who could not attend my wedding feel that they were a part of it. I could not be more pleased with my photos and absolutely recommend him to anyone who wants an amazing wedding photography experience.
