I’ve known Tom for a few years now, since we served on the board of MORE, a local non-profit, so I was thrilled when he and Adele approached me about being a part of their wedding day. Here are few sneak previews from their wedding at St. Mary’s in Alexandria and Collingwood. Between the ceremony and reception we walked around Old Town taking advantage of the streets for some fun portraits. It was such an honor to photograph Charlotte and Fey’s wedding. Charlotte has become a dear member of our family over the past two years, having been a loving nanny to our two boys. When Charlotte first told us she was engaged, she sat on the couch and was grinning from ear to ear. We were thrilled when she asked us to help document her celebration. And celebration it was! It is clear that Charlotte and Fey are surrounded by wonderful friends and family who clearly love them so very much.

Congratulations and Ayeeko, Charlotte and Fey! Thank you for being such an important part of our lives and allowing us to be a part of yours!

Here’s a quick look at Nick and Tiffany’s engagement session at the Cherry Blossoms.  We had to reschedule this shoot a couple of times as the notoriously fickle cherry blossoms seemed rather reluctant to make an appearance this year.  But once we finally set a date, what a show we got.

And it’s not just the Cherry Blossoms that make for a great springtime shoot downtown.  The FDR memorial is right next to the Tidal Basin and is full of great little corners to shoot and there’s the Lincoln Memorial and my new favorite, the DC War Memorial.

We can’t wait for May when we help Nick and Tiffany celebrate their wedding.   Congratulations and we know it will be a magical day for you.

It was a joy to spend this past Saturday in Philadelphia with Jeff and Catharine as a part of their wedding.  From beginning to end, the day was a joyous celebration of their love.  From a beautifully personal ceremony at St. Patricks, to pictures at Rittenhouse Square, and a delightful reception at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.
