Jaci and Eric’s Wedding at Holy Trinity and Heritage Hunt

We had such a great time celebrating with Jaci and Eric this weekend at their wonderful wedding at Holy Trinity and Heritage Hunt. The rain may have dampened the grass on the golf course, but it didn’t do anything to dampen the spirits of the couple or the families or guests. Congratulations Jaci, Eric, and Cole!

PDN Top Knots for 2013

We’re so excited to have been chosen as one of Photo District News’s Top Knots for 2013. This picture from Sara and Darren’s wedding at Pippin Hill was selected by the Judges — Muzam Agha, senior photo producer of Martha Stewart Weddings, Jason Groupp from WPPI, and Rebecca Crumley, Weddings Photo Director at The Knot — in the ceremonies category. You can see all of the winners in the May issue of PDN and at the Top Knots 2013 Winners Gallery and we’re ecstatic to have been chosen along with all of these talented photographers.

Nick and Tiffany at the Cherry Blossoms

Here’s a quick look at Nick and Tiffany’s engagement session at the Cherry Blossoms.  We had to reschedule this shoot a couple of times as the notoriously fickle cherry blossoms seemed rather reluctant to make an appearance this year.  But once we finally set a date, what a show we got.

And it’s not just the Cherry Blossoms that make for a great springtime shoot downtown.  The FDR memorial is right next to the Tidal Basin and is full of great little corners to shoot and there’s the Lincoln Memorial and my new favorite, the DC War Memorial.

Catharine and Jeff at St. Patrick’s and the Philadelphia Cricket Club

It was a joy to spend this past Saturday in Philadelphia with Jeff and Catharine as a part of their wedding.  From beginning to end, the day was a joyous celebration of their love.  From a beautifully personal ceremony at St. Patricks, to pictures at Rittenhouse Square, and a delightful reception at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.

Sara and Darren’s Wedding at Pippin Hill is Featured on Borrowed and Blue and Another WPJA Award!

We’re so excited that Borrowed & Blue have decided to feature Sara and Darren’s beautiful wedding in their Real Weddings. I had a great time last fall at Pippin Hill with Sara and Darren and it’s really no surprise to me that people would want to show it off.

A Family Session in Old Town Alexandria

Megan got in touch late last year about scheduling a family portrait shoot for her family. She wanted something a little different and said she life old doors and brick, so we met up in Old Town Alexandria and spent a couple of hours looking for fun spots.  We found more than a few!

Lauren, who’s just about to turn one, was a great sport for the day and even let us get some pictures of just Mom and Dad.
